Sounded good to us so we set about taking a good look over AstralBlue.com to find out what the site is like! We love the girls we grew up ogling on page 3 of our fathers creased copy of the Sun, so a site that twangs your loins in memories of wanks had yesteryear, was of great delight to us.

Subscription is via CCBill, offering Credit Card or Bank Billing to the tune of $39.98 recurring (£26) with discounted options for longer non-recurring subscriptions. Not the cheapest porn on the block, so lets examine the value aspects of the site.

A British porn site in every sense of the word- lavish in its use of national red, white and blue, with Union Jacks jimmied into every possible design core of the design. As we are drawn oddly to Page 3 (grin), we see that surfers are presented with shoots of girls who you’ll all be very familiar with- Kelly Marie, Maria Sheriff, Tracey Coleman (hubba hubba!!), Louise Hodges (hubba hubba!), Michelle Thorn, Claire Margason (hubba hubba), Lucy Gresty and Vida Garman amongst others. Astral Blue show Pauls work as an excellent collection of material that is Razzle-level (more specifically made up of nudity, open leg and insertion level content).

Entering a picture gallery shows a thumbnail collection which is nice and visual, easy to navigate and simple. Each image is well lit and shot, defaulting by showing an 800×600 or so image, with a button above to switch to better res 1600×1000 or so res. The quality of the images, well lit and shot as they are, sometimes appear very `raw` looking with little modern `Photoshopping`. This helps gives the footage a unique look and feel, again happily provoking memories of wanks gone by! Everythings been shot in the days before every girl shaved off all her pubics- girls who had never done anything like this before, so their naturalness shines through so again if you like your girls with `some grass on the pitch` then Astral Blue seems perfect for you!

Video-wise the movies are offeried in a variety of formats, which vary from when the shoots were added we guess. Newer videos include Flash versions, others are available in downloadable WMV format in pal res 720×576 (v.nice and clear!) and lower resolutions for those with more limited internet connections. The quality of the videos we saw were excellent- well shot mostly solo or lesbian vids with some beautiful girls.
For users who want to take their videos on their phones or Ipods, there a somewhere in the regio0n of 80 or so videos provided in Ipod MP4 format and 3G2 and 3GP formats, which is a welcome addition.

So, in summary- Yes we’d very much recommend Astral Blue, especially for those of us who really enjoyed British girls of the golden era of Page 3- certainly for appreciators of gorgeous honeys like Louise Hodges, Jo Guest and Lucy Gresty. Three cheers for Paul Markham’s Astral Blue!
