Aaah great, we’ve been itching to review SubAms for a while so todays as good a day as any! Suburban Amateurs is a well known, long-established site centered around amateur (and not-so amateur now) British girls. Well-known English photographer Simon D has dedicated his time and effort in producing his shoots and Suburban Amateurs is the shop window on the fruits of his labour.

So what does the surfer get for their $29.95 (£20 UKP at the time of writing)? According to the site stats “297662 High Res Photos, 466 Full Length Movies and 244 + Hot Girls“. Well I for one am not going to sit and count the amount of photos manually for love nor money to verify those claims, but I can assure you that every penny spent on Subams will be a penny well spent.

Navigationally, the site has plenty of stuff to click on, but its all laid out in a clear way. At the very top are some tertiary features `News, Favourites, Calendar and Private Messanging`, below that and the site header is the search feature. Quick mention for this as it really is a very good search- you can search through a drop down of niche driven categories (boots/bondage/baby oil etc), and then theres also a deeper `advanced search` where you can filter more and more. For a big site such as SubAms, this degree of help in `I need to find exactly the content I like to whack off to` is excellent.

Below this is the more standard `Home, Photos, Movies, Our Girls, Bonus Sites, Forum and FAQ`. As highlighted previously, nice and clear. The main page layout shows a `coming soon` strip  above the latest updates; the thums of which also highlight the amount of content in the shoot, when it was added and the current user rating.

Delving into one of the photoshoots (the lovely Scarlatt Lovatt’s first set), the surfer is presented with a good set of features including a set description, rating, an add-to-favourites, category links (and a `suggest category keywords` link which we haven’t seen before in a site and thought was an excellent idea). Along with this are download links to zip files of both the hi-res photos  and standard size zip for those with a lesser capable internet connection.

The gallery thumbs are good quality, as are the photos themselves. The site may be called Suburban Amateurs but there’s nothing amateur about the quality of the photos. The standard is very high with clear, crisp images, the models imacculately made up, set lit properly and the camera white balance set just right. Sounds basic, but after seeing so much amateur content on the net thesedays, its oddly refreshing to see somewhere where the level of quality, professionalism and artistry has been at the fore.

Video-lovers are well catered for in that for each video set, there are a huge number of ways to enjoy the footage. Each shoot is broken down into bite-sized 1-minute sections which can be streamed or downloaded. The quality of the videos is very good, though without excelling. In todays HD era, we’d like to see SubAms move up to providing HD 1280 videos of these extremely sexy women!

If the surfer prefers, the complete shoot video can also be streamed as an FLV, or downloaded in DIVX, MP4 or WMV formats, so there really *IS* somethign for everbody.

The site theme is slightly softer core / hard-erotic style, with the lavish collection of British lovelies disrobing to nudity, open leg, open pussy and to vibro insertion level and the girls vary wonderfully, from young new faces, sexy milfs, goth chicks, big boobed ladies, you name it! Each one made up beautifully and disrobing. Fantastic stuff. Oops- before we forget, we should mention also that while the site does not stretch to the more hardcore levels to satisfy the lustful surfer, SubAms has more than made up for it with the depth of sexy outfits the models strip out of. It doesn’t really matter WHAT your own personal perchant is, you’ll no doubt find a couple of babes on the site clad in your fetish!

Finally, as if the level of content on SubAms is not enough (eh!?!?)  we should also bring to the table that your membership also allows access to Simon’s other site SuburbanSluts.com, plus 5 years of Viv Thomas video and photo content, UK Amateur Hardcore, UK amateur galleries, and a whole bunch of One Eyed Jack videos.

Phew…. okay, the conclusion, and a very, very simple one it is too. If you like British porn, there is no reason why should not subscribe to Suburban Amateurs. There’s enough content for months and months of very enjoyable viewing and from our perspective, it was a pleasure to review the site!
